It must be performed according to the specified cycle and combined with calibration certificate verification and key performance item testing. Specific procedures are as follows:

 

Calibration Cycle Setting

General Cycle: It is recommended to calibrate annually, applicable to most secondary test equipment used in the field.

Special Scenario Adjustment: For equipment used at high frequencies or in harsh environments (high temperature, high humidity, strong electromagnetic interference), the calibration cycle can be shortened to once every 6 months.

Newly purchased equipment or equipment that has undergone major repairs must undergo its first calibration immediately.

If a condition-based maintenance strategy is adopted, the cycle can be dynamically adjusted based on the trend of previous calibration data.

 

Calibration Certificate

Verification Points Before use, it is essential to verify that the equipment is within its calibration validity period. This includes:

Checking the equipment label or the next calibration date in the management system. Expired equipment must not be used.

Obtain and retain the official calibration certificate, confirming the following information is complete: The calibration organization possesses CNAS or statutory metrological accreditation; The calibration items cover all functions of the equipment (such as voltage drop, load, and resistance measurement); The measurement uncertainty complies with the requirements of DL/T or JJF series regulations; There are no vague statements such as "for reference only" or "not determining compliance".
