Safety Precautions

Pre-test Preparation

Power off the tested equipment completely and discharge it fully; wipe off oxide on the terminals and fasten the test leads firmly.

Gear Operation

Select the current gear according to the type/impedance of the test object, no over-range testing; manual gear selection is recommended for high-precision measurement.

After Testing Inductive Objects

Do not disconnect the test leads immediately after testing; operate only after the instrument prompts the completion of residual voltage release.

Power Supply & Environment

Connect to 220V compliant mains power, avoid unstable power supply; do not use for a long time in harsh environments with excessive dust, high humidity or strong electromagnetic interference.

Printing & Data Management

Load printing paper properly before printing to prevent paper jams; print and file historical test data in time to avoid data loss.

Maintenance & Storage

Tidy up the test leads after use; store the instrument in a dry, ventilated and non-corrosive environment, check the terminals regularly, and disconnect all external lines when the instrument is idle.
