Product Overview
The JH2810 Three-Phase Winding Resistance Tester is designed to cut transformer DC resistance testing time. It delivers high output current in a compact, lightweight body, making it easy to carry to any job site. Controlled by a microprocessor, it automatically handles self-testing, data processing, and safe auto-discharge. This unit provides fast and stable readings for distribution transformers, power transformers, reactors, and generators. It is also ideal for rapid resistance testing of switches, copper bars, contactors, and cable accessories.

Safety Precautions
- For indoor and outdoor use only. Avoid operating in rain, corrosive gas, dusty, or excessively hot environments.
- Read the instruction manual thoroughly before first use.
- Only qualified personnel with basic electrical safety knowledge should operate this instrument.
- This is a high-precision device. Avoid dropping or subjecting it to strong vibrations.
- Repairs, maintenance, and calibration must be performed by authorized service personnel only.
- After each test, wait for the auto-discharge alarm to stop before turning off power or removing test leads.
- When testing on-load tap changers, always wait for discharge to complete before switching taps.
- Never disconnect test clips or power lines during testing-especially during three-phase unbalance tests-to prevent data errors and potential hazards.

FAQ
Q: Can this instrument test the three-phase unbalance rate of transformers?
A: Yes. It features a dedicated three-phase test mode that automatically calculates and displays the unbalance rate on the screen immediately after the winding resistance test is completed-no manual calculation required.
Q: What settings are required before starting a three-phase unbalance test?
A: You need to configure the connection group, tap position, test side (HV/LV), test current, and ambient temperature. For YN-connected transformers, the system defaults to neutral point testing (A-0, B-0, C-0), but non-neutral point testing can also be selected if needed.
Q: What formula does the instrument use to calculate the unbalance rate?
A: The instrument automatically applies the industry-standard formula:
Unbalance Rate = (R_max - R_min) / R_average
The calculation is performed instantly by the device once the three-phase data is acquired.
